Well, I just wanted to do something not college related!
So I made a business card.
:)
I sent it off to Vistaprint, who are gonna print it up for me super duper cheap as chips,
as always.
I decided not to bother with the "email" "phone number" "blog address" headers, as you'd have to be daft not to cop it... it just didnt fit well with the design...
anywho! This is it:
(Ps: Colours are quite bright to allow for the printing (cmyk/rgb thingy))

Marriage is between two people...ANY two people! who love each other! :)
Way I see it is, some straight folk take marriage for granted.
Run off to Vegas on a whim after a few months. It's no wonder 60 percent of marriages go down the tubes.
Whereas I know same sex relationships who've been together longer than most marriages! So who are we to say they don't deserve the security and social and cultural respect that comes from showing true commitment to someone else, and getting to celebrate their relationship with family and friends...
It's a no brainer people! It's been legalised in more countries than people are even aware of! Belgium, Canada, Argentina, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark etc. And the ground hasn't opened up and swallowed those countries whole yet!
Anyway, here's my little logos I made in support of equality civil rights for same sex relationships. Fingers crossed the world can become another step closer to being lovely for everyone :)

Die Hard: starring Moose Willis
Yep! You guessed it! Another "Irish Sketch Society" post. :)
This weeks topic was "Die Hard". I tried drawing Bruce Willis kayaking...
but he just looked liked a balding egg. He's a hard man to draw! :)
So I decided to put a Yak in a kayak, for "yipee kayaking Yak ki ay!"...
but then my buddy Rachel Wilson suggested "Moose Willis", and the joke was complete.
As you can see I did a lot of thinking and talking about it before I actually did it! Was just hard to find the time! Anywho! Hope you like him! :)

Beer label
Hello Blog readin' folk! :)
Sorry I haven't been very active of late, I just forgot to upload stuff. Here's a fictional beer label I made, should I ever dip my toes in the craft beer business. ;) It's a special "brew", as it's tea flavoured! I'll probably have a Lyons and a Barrys to cover all corners of the market. ;)
Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting! :)

Khalessi and Her 3 Dragons from Game of Thrones
Decided to make a bit of a "Game of Thrones" animation. It's the laziest two seconds of animation you'll ever see, but sure, what can you do. :P
This is Khalessi and her three baby dragons. :)

I should have looped it s a few times, but I forgot. I didn't shade the dragons, and I'm not 100 percent happy with it, so I may come back to it another day. :)

Seal clubbing
Something I've always hated and makes me sad to the core. Not sure how anyone could stroll around and just butcher seals for sport. They can't defend themselves.. they can't even run away!
I understand that peoples livelihood depend on fishing, but if my livelihood depending on butchering thousands of animals (in a really gruesome and painful way) then I'd pack up and change job.
Anyway, found myself just drawing this chap today... can't be happy doodles all the time I guess!
Why not check out:
or
http://wwf.panda.org/ for more endangered animals.
Thanks for looking!

Dash-Hund!
Sorry cat lovers... there's nothing for you here. :P
Here's yet another doggie scribble I whipped up. I actually lost about 30 minutes work when Flash crashed. I took a screen grab of the doggie, cut and pasted the screen grab back into flash when I re-opened it, and hey presto! I actually got alot of my line work back with the trace bitmap tool. Handy that! :) Had to tweak it a bit, but it was alot better than starting from scratch!
Anywho, this pooch is having a nice run in the park. His ears are just ridiculous. Hope you like him :) I hope people also enjoy my pun... :P

Annecy Sting (hopefully!)
With our college films bareeely handed in, a few of us devoted college students hung back for two days to crack into the Annecy sting opportunity that was presented to us a few weeks back. Unfortunately, our end of year film was all our first priorities when Annecy came a knockin', but sure we made a quick go at the Annecy sting challenge anyway. Here's hoping its one of the ones selected. :)
Anywho, I helped create some of the assets/background in the sting. Hope you like them. :)
Created in Flash.
